The iRead kick-off meeting was held at the UCL Knowledge Lab in London, England on 25-27 January. Members from all 17 consortium partners attended the meeting, so it was a great opportunity for everybody to meet, find out about each others’ previous experience, knowledge and skills as well as hear their ideas for the project. There were 38 participants representing the various partners of the consortium.
iRead is an Innovation project so a primary goal was to understand the technologies each partner brings with them to the consortium and map out their synergies. Our industry partners fish in a bottle, Knowble, DFKI, Pickatale and Dolphin all demonstrated their existing technologies and NTUA shared the technology that had been developed through the iLearnRW project, providing a great starting point for the iRead project.
