On the 28th February 2020, the ULBS team organized a dissemiantion event at Samuel von Brukenthal National College, hosted by Professor Florea Delilah. The goal of the event was to introduce the iRead project technologies to a group of computer science and English teachers who attended from a number of schools in the Sibiu region.

15 teachers attended from nine different schools and were introduced to how the iRead project technologies (the Navigo game, the Amigo reader and the teacher tool) can support students with reading by offering motivating, short activities that can be personalised to the student’s progress. The session covered how the Navigo game utilizes rewards to motivate students to play challenging yet interesting games.

During the session, attendees were introduced to theoretical information and practical details about the technologies and had the opportunity to play a range of Navigo games.

Attendees reported that they were keen to invest in buying tablets for their schools so that they could access the Navigo game and Amigo reader with their students.
